To use AR BookGuide you must have Javascript
and cookies enabled on your computer.
In AR BookGuide, you can do the following:
Search for specific books, Reading Practice Quizzes, Literacy Skills Quizzes, Vocabulary Practice Quizzes, and Recorded Voice Quizzes
You can search for a title, author, quiz number, ISBN, publisher, point range, book level range, topic, subtopic, grade or interest level, language, add (or change) custom fields (such as location), or book type (fiction or nonfiction). You can also search for books and quizzes by ownership status. See Searching for Books and Quizzes.
Match the books you have with your quizzes and search for the quizzes you may still need
AR BookGuide can make it easier for you to make sure that you have quizzes for the books in your library collection. You can either mark your quizzes and books manually or import information from Accelerated Reader and your library circulation system (MARC records). See Importing.
Create Book Lists and see Book Details
You can create, save, open, and use your Book Lists to create orders, print book lists, print lists of titles for your reference, and print book labels. See Book and Quiz Lists. When you click on a title in a book list, you can see Book Details.
Print reports
You can print your search results, a book list, book details, book labels, and import results reports.
Use the program preferences to configure the program for your needs
You can determine how many book titles appear per page, change the book levels and points (Pre-ATOS, ATOS, or Accelerated Reader), and set up your own custom user fields.
Export and Import information
You can export a list from AR BookGuide. The export is formatted as a tab delimited export text (.txt) or HTML file. See Exporting.
You can import AR (desktop or RP) Export, BG Desktop Export, and MARC record files. See Importing.
