MARC Records Report

Light-Bulb.gif Create a list from the results of the MARC record import. When you create a list, you can use it to print book labels. You can create a list of the books in the MARC record(s) you are importing, but you must create the list as part of the import process.

The MARC Import Results reports can be used to search for titles that are in your school's collection and make it easier for you to match your books to the quizzes you own or need to order in AR BookGuide.

After you import your MARC records from your library circulation system into AR BookGuide 3.x, AR BookGuide separates the titles in the import into two groups.

Usually, if a book in your collection does not match a Reading Practice Quiz in the AR BookGuide database, there is either no quiz for that book, or the quiz was based on an earlier edition of the book in your collection. If the book in your collection is a revision of one used to create an AR quiz, you must manually mark that book "Have Book". See Marking Books and Quizzes for more information.

After a successful MARC records import and when you are ready to print the MARC Records Import Results report, you can choose to view either the Matching or Non-matching records. The report will open in Adobe Reader where you can print and/or save it for later use. See Checking Import History and Printing Results for more information about printing these reports.
